Using Banner Stands with Your Existing Display or Pop-Up

You've spent a considerable amount of time and effort designing a killer trade show booth and pop-up displays, but now you find you want to emphasize a new product or a special service as well.

Is it necessary to go back to square one and redesign your entire booth, or is there another option?

All you have to do is add an extra banner stand or retractable display or two. You can highlight your new product with a portable JiffyRoll or spiff up your presentation by replacing low-tech flip charts with a graphically attractive retractable display. These versatile units can be placed by your featured product or moved to your presentation area and used as a graphic backdrop when making your sales pitch.

Retractable, portable displays are inexpensive and easy to set up. The price has come down so much that you don’t have to amortize their cost over five or six shows. In fact, a banner stand can be considered a one-time item. A JiffyRoll costs a little more, but you can use it many times. If you take care of retractable displays, they will last for years.

Design for Impact

To maximize the impact of your banner stand or JiffyRoll, use a bit of design flair. Don't settle for a blown-up version of your title page or product name followed by a few bulleted features. Create a display design that is striking enough to get people’s attention.

Digital printing techniques allow you to use full-color photographs and artwork. If you don't know anything about working with graphics and have never used graphic design software, have your company's graphic designer create something with visual impact.

Ask your trade show display supplier if they can design something for you as part of their service. They have done this sort of thing hundreds of times and know what you are trying to accomplish. They know exactly what raw materials and assistance you need. Often, they can put an impressive design together for much less than you would pay a freelance designer.
